The Management Committee meets in the Boardroom at the College on the first Thursday of each month. All parents are welcome to attend.

Annual General Meeting

The Radford College P&F Association Inc. Management Committee holds its Annual General Meeting on the fourth Wednesday of February every year.

The Management Committee co-ordinates and manages the various activities undertaken by the Association, provides the nexus between the School Board, the parents and the school itself and provides the Radford link with APFACTS, which is a very important lobby group representing the interests of non-government schools.

The Management Committee comprises:

The elected members are elected for a one year term at the Annual General Meeting held on the last Wednesday in February. Completed nominations should be forwarded to the Secretary, c/- Radford College Office by 4.00pm on the preceding Tuesday. Details of the committee's activities and position responsibilities can be obtained from either the President or the Secretary. Although elected members may be re-elected annually, they may not serve for more than three years in any one appointment. At least two years must expire before a member can be re-elected to an appointment she/he has held previously for a period of three years.

In addition to the Management Committee, each sub-committee may send one representative to the monthly Management Committee Meetings.

At the Annual General meeting, the Management Committee may invite interested members to assist the Committee in the role of co-opted members. Co-opted members play an important role in supporting the Management Committee, by contributing to the discussion on issues being considered and assisting the Committee in conducting the business and activities of the P&F. The Committee meets at the school on the first Thursday of every month, except January. For those months when the first Thursday falls during school holidays, the meeting is usually held later in the month after school has resumed.

Sub-committee representatives and co-opted members are encouraged to join in the discussion at the Management Committee meetings but they have no voting rights.

The Committee is looking for new members every year. We hope to ensure that there is a broad spread of parent representation on the Committee and that newer parents have an opportunity to be part of the Committee without having to take on a specific appointment until they feel ready for it.
