Canberra Girls’ Programming Network Workshop
The Canberra Girls’ Programming Network is a community for female students to learn about computer programming and technology through workshops and gives exposure to female role models across academia, government and industry.
The workshop topic is Cryptology!
The art of protecting secrets started thousands of years ago from the early Egyptians.
Cryptology is one of those ancient sciences that has endured to modern day communications.
This workshop will centre on the famous Caesar Cipher named for its creator Julius Caesar.
Join us to be code-breakers for a day!

Harmony Day - JS and Secondary
Secondary: non-uniform day - students are encouraged to wear bright colours to celebrate diversity. Food, music and entertainment at lunchtime. Food stalls will raise money for the Relay for Life teams.
Junior: students are invited to come dressed in a national costume. See Bulletin article for more details about JS activities.

Using data to personalise learning

On behalf of Louise Wallace-Richards, Director of Teaching and Learning, community members are warmly invited to attend our third Education Forum for 2016. This Education and Wellbeing Board Forum will address the ways the College is using data to improve the learning of our students.
Presenters will include Louise Wallace-Richards, Junior School PYP Coordinators, Peter McDonald and Belinda Reitstatter, and Andrew Barber, Academic Tracking Coordinator, who will present the academic tracking system he developed for the College to be used by teachers and pastoral leaders to inform discussions about student progress.
The Forum will be held in Room 50 in the Senior School from 5.30pm–6.30pm* on Thursday 21 July.
