A Christmas message from the Principal
At the end of a challenging year, it is time to relax, reflect and celebrate.
Bushfires, smoke haze and a global pandemic presented challenges and fears, but our community dealt with these in a united and positive way. If anything, I think we were strengthened by these crises. The camaraderie and community spirit that was so obvious through those challenging times will serve us well into 2021 and beyond.
I hope you enjoyed viewing our online Celebration events. If you’ve not had an opportunity to watch them, you can still do so securely from your Radford Online account. Please login to watch via the links below.

Programs are also available at the links below. The full list of award winners will appear in the 2020 Radfordian, to be published early next year.
These events are a wonderful reminder of the many achievements of our students in classrooms, performing arts venues, on the sporting fields and in the service of others; achievements which are made all the more special by the way our students overcame the extra challenges placed before them.
I’m also delighted to again provide the link for the Radford College Christmas Service video. The Christmas Service features the Radford College choirs from the Junior and Secondary schools. Their beautiful musical offerings will uplift and inspire and get us into the Christmas spirit!
Year 12 Results
We will know our Year 12 results in stages over the holidays. We already know our BSSS (A) results and our BSSS (T) results are announced next week. Unfortunately, the challenges of COVID-19 have meant a delay of results for our inaugural International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme students until early 2021.
I will send a letter next week announcing the BSSS results ahead of a full Year 12 results publication, including the IB DP results, in mid-to-late January.
Semester 2 Reports now available
We are pleased to advise that our Semester 2 2020 reports for both Junior School and Secondary School students (Years PK – 11) are now visible via the parent/guardian portal, SEQTA Engage.
To access these reports, please log on to Radford Online, using your username and password and undertake the following:
• Click on the SEQTA - Courses, Reports and Timetables’ tile; and
• Click the ‘Reports’ tab to view.
Semester Reports are also available via the SEQTA app.
Finally, I extend my best wishes for the festive season to the Radford College community. One of the positives of this year’s lockdown period was the extra time we got to spend with our families and I’m certain this renewed appreciation of our loved ones will make Christmas and New Year especially joyful. I look forward to welcoming everyone back for the start of the 2021 academic year.
