Foundation Day Activities - Secondary School

Radford College

Dear Parents & Caregivers

Radford College Secondary School - Foundation Day 2021

On Thursday 1 April, Radford College will celebrate Foundation Day, one of the most enjoyable days of the year.

Whilst there are no scheduled classes on Foundation Day, it is a compulsory school day. Students should make their way to and from school as usual and wear their House uniform, including a hat. Students are asked to bring food and water for the day, as the school canteen will only be open for drinks, ice-creams and pre-prepared food (no lunch orders for Secondary School students).

After the Foundation Day service in the G Wigg Sports Centre (gym) students will be involved in a range of activities held at the College or at a venue off-campus. Students have already selected their activity at House meetings. If your child was away on the day of House meetings, they can sign up for an activity by visiting the Sports Office.

Activities held at Radford:

  • AFL 9s – P&F Oval
  • Badminton – G Wigg Sports Centre (gym)
  • Bubble Sports – P&F Oval
  • Chess – MAJ classrooms
  • Computer Games – Computer Labs
  • Dance – Dance Studios
  • European Handball – Outdoor Basketball Courts
