By Lisa Plenty, Technology Coach and Year 7 Digital Technology teacher

Commencing this term, students will now study Digital Technology for a term in both Year 7 and Year 8 and our students have made an enthusiastic start.

Studying Digital Technology does not just prepare students to be the next Steve Jobs or Bill Gates, but is also exceptional for learning to problem solve, develop creative solutions, work collaboratively and think analytically.

Students have enthusiastically programmed Lego EV3 robots and learnt the basics of coding through Scratch, HTML and Python through Grok Learning.

It has been fantastic to see our students? problem-solving skills develop and enjoy the wonderful ?aha? moments when a challenge is resolved.
