Principal's Message, 15 May
Dear Parents and Caregivers
I’m pleased to announce that the College is recommencing some of its Co-curricular Program activities from next week, for students who were previously enrolled. This decision is in line with the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) advice on reducing the potential risk of COVID-19 transmission in schools.
In making this decision, the College acknowledges that the safety of our students, staff and the wider community is paramount.
Key measures will include:
- Hand sanitising before, during and after all co-curricular activities
- Physical distancing of students involved in co-curricular activities
- Thorough cleaning of equipment and venues before, during and after the activities
- Providing an online version of activities via Microsoft Teams for those students in Years 7–10 who are not on campus, due to the current alternate days of face-to-face teaching, based on House Groups.
Please refer to this guide, which indicates the activities which are recommencing in the coming weeks and the year levels involved. Days and times of activities confirmed to be returning can be found on the Radford Online Co-Curricular Activity Details & Schedules page.
Further information will be forthcoming to parents and caregivers in the coming days and weeks from the relevant activity’s coordinator.
