RTC Recycled Art - magic!

Making treasure from trash - the RTC Recycled Art project
From Melinda Hamilton
The Radford Tribal Council ran a competition for Junior School Students to display their creativity and environmental awareness. Students had to create an artwork using recycled materials that helped encourage people to care for our world. They could work alone or with others, and create any type of art including painting, collage and sculpture.
The entries were amazing, and are displayed in the JS foyer at the moment. The RTC students had a very difficult job of judging the artwork to hand out some prizes. A huge ‘thank you’ to all students who entered art works and supported this initiative.
