Anglicare Pantry Appeal
Radford College is once again partnering with St John’s Care, an Anglicare partner, to stock their shelves, so that Canberrans can access food and other essentials this Winter.
We are collecting non-perishable food and other items such as toiletries, nappies, lunchbox items and laundry powder. See the "Shopping List" opposite, and please note that they have already sufficient supplies of soup, tinned baked beans/spaghetti, tinned beetroot.
Cash donations can be made to St John’s Care here to support their much needed work.
JUNIOR SCHOOL
Collection starts this week (Week 7) and runs until the end of term. Drop off points are:
- ELC Piazza
- 5/6 Reception
- JS Foyer (in the Magic Bathtub)
SECONDARY SCHOOL
Collection starts this week and runs until the end of term. Drop off points are:
- Secondary Library
- Wellbeing area (Lower Morison)
The Secondary School is also hosting a uniform-free day on Friday 17th June with the theme ‘Wear Your Winter Woollies and donate to the Anglicare Winter Pantry Appeal’.
As part of the uniform free day, all students are asked to bring in an item for the pantry appeal that day.
LIFELINE PUSH UP CHALLENGE
Some secondary students are also participating in the ‘Push Up Challenge’. On Friday 17 June there will be a BBQ at lunchtime to raise money for Lifeline and a group push up activity to get everyone moving!
