JS celebrates Book Week

By Gemma Wilson and Rachael Hind, Junior School Teacher Librarians

The Junior School Book Character Parade was a wonderful celebration of books and reading at Radford. It was loud, it was enthusiastic, it was full of amazing characters and books.

Thank you to all the students, families and staff for going above and beyond in their enthusiasm and creativity as we share a love of reading. See next week's Bulletin for photos of the student parade.

“If we want to nurture empathy in our learners so that they can understand different perspectives and explore alternative ways of doing, being and becoming, we must ensure that rich literature is at the heart of every classroom.” Foundation for Learning and Literacy 2022 Symposium
