  • Hispanic Day.

Spring is a time of both subtle and significant change. It's nature's most glorious and apparent illustration of new life and growth.

In addition to the obvious changes to the landscape, as buds turn into blossoms and flowers take full bloom, previously bare and leafless trees come to life and proudly parade their new foliage, we shed our winter woollies and replace them with bright coloured shirts and shorts and casual attire.

End-of-winter season team sports are either won or lost with equal levels of elation or disappointment, and thoughts turn to summer activities and the excitement of warmer longer days ahead.

Just as flowers bloom and are at their very best, we too can seek to become the best versions of ourselves as we prepare for Term 4 and enter the “home stretch” for completing another school year.

It is my hope that we can each find some time to pause, relax and reflect on our achievements. This is where self-satisfaction can be derived and we can be inspired to achieve even greater pursuits in the future. It's also an opportunity to appreciate the rich opportunities we enjoy at Radford and acknowledge what we might sometimes take for granted.

A sincere message of appreciation to all staff and students engaging in the teaching and learning opportunities and the rich co-curricular opportunities undertaken. We continue to be grateful for each and every one of these contributions that further enhance our already rich and diverse school culture.

Spring holidays present an opportunity to pause and prepare, as we approach the sprint to the end of the school year.

Rest well and stay safe.
