Radford Dance Academy Showcase

Wow, what a weekend! An incredible 300 dancers performed 75 routines twice, across 26 hours, before an audience of 1100 people at the 2022 Radford Dance Academy Showcase.

A total of 600 costumes and 300 faces of make-up and hair were completed to create spectacular, seamless, and professional-looking shows.

Our students did an incredible job of showcasing the skills they’ve learnt over the past year; so much so that we had to increase the three shows originally planned to four to meet the unprecedented demand for seats.

We were also lucky to have special guest performances by pre-professional dancer and RDA ballet teacher, Ms Soraya Sullivan.

Thank you to the staff and volunteers who worked tirelessly across three, 14-hour days, including rehearsals and the show days. A special thank you goes to Mr Nick Akhurst who transformed our hall into a dance theatre.
