Congratulations to Sam Lemon, Ben Baker and Baxter Sicily who won bronze at the School Sport Australia Touch Football Championships.


Cricket

Although Sunday was a complete washout, there was still plenty of exciting cricket played over the weekend. The highlight was the ‘Radford vs Radford’ Stage 1 Friday night fixture between the Renegades and Heat. In a nail-biting finish, the Renegades emerged victorious with two balls to spare.

2023 Canberra Netball Association (CNA) Junior Rep Trials

Registrations are now open for CNA's 2023 Junior Representative Trials for ages U11 to U15.

Canberra Netball Association runs a well-structured, supported and successful junior representative program for boys and girls ranging from U11-15 years. Athletes selected from the trials compete against district teams in Regional NSW, Central NSW and Canberra in the 2023 representative season, culminating in ACT Junior Championships in June and July.

Details for the trial are as below with registration links for each age group. You must register to participate in trials.

Tennis ACT Community Tennis Day

Sunday, 20 November, 10 am–12 pm, Canberra Tennis Centre

This FREE community event will be the place to check out and experience what the summer of Tennis has in store, and officially launch the P2 Advisory Canberra International 2023.

This event will be action-packed, with something for everyone, and is open to all ages and abilities. The first 200 kids through the gates also receive a FREE tennis racquet!

Tennis ACT is excited to be recruiting for its 2023 Canberra International Tournament, including team members for the Ballkid Squad! Being a Ballkid is a fantastic opportunity to experience world-class tennis, be part of an amazing event and make friendships.

There will be a number of come and try days:

  1. Saturday, 12 November - 11 am
  2. Friday, 9 December - 4 pm
  3. Tuesday, 13 December - 4 pm
  4. Thursday, 15 December - 4 pm
