The Radford Tribal Council (RTC) students successfully ran a year-level Talent Quest over the past week.

Students really enjoyed these events, which were a great showcase for the many known and previously hidden talents in the Junior School.

The judges, Mrs Hind and Chloe Craddock (Year 1 student), gave this feedback to the performers:

Today we saw so many amazing acts. The dancers were groovy and energetic with graceful freestyle showing original choreography. There were sports stars, with basketballers, soccer players, cricketers and BMX riders who were coordinated, balanced and full of energy. Musicians sang, played the piano, drums and ukulele and we even had a beatboxer. These performers showed they’d practised lots and were very brave and entertaining.

Other acts included joke-tellers, a mime artist and magicians who wowed us with their skills. The previously hidden talents of Year 1 were Anastasia, who twirled and danced with five hula hoops, and Amyra who danced and sang while roller-skating!

The RTC is very appreciative of the support that teachers gave to run these events, and of all the performers who were brave risktakers!
