The Radford College Development Foundation’s 2019 Annual Appeal supports many educational journeys.
It’s why our Cornerstone Donors came forward during the 2018 fundraising campaign - because Radford gave someone they know an opportunity.
These donors have now been recognised by the installation of glass tiles etched with their names (pictured below) at the entrance to the Morison Centre.
Donations like these have already funded a scholarship for a senior student who would not otherwise be able to attend Radford. Another six-year scholarship, funded by the Boorer Foundation, will provide a similar opportunity to a student entering Year 7 next year.
With the end of the financial year fast approaching, the Foundation welcomes tax-deductible donations of any amount to the Scholarship Fund or Major Projects Fund, or a bequest to the General Fund. You can donate online below and all donations over $2 are tax-deductible.
Our Foundation is still relatively young, but the generosity of our community is timeless.
We thank you for your continued interest and support.
Donations of any amount are always welcomed by the Radford Foundation. The Foundation has three classes of substantial donation:
Bronze – one-off donation of $5,000 or a pledge of $1,000 per year for five years
Silver – one-off donation of $10,000 or a pledge of $2,000 per year for five years
Gold – one-off donation of $25,000 or a pledge of $5,000 per year for five years
Perpetual recognition of Cornerstone and substantial donors is under consideration and The Foundation Directors
expect to announce their plans for this in the coming months.
The Foundation operates three funds:
A Scholarship Fund – to award scholarships to students considered to have high academic potential but who are unable to attend the College due to economic circumstances. Donations to this fund are tax deductible.
A Major Projects Fund – to be used for major new buildings and development in alignment with the College Master Plan. Donations to this fund are tax deductible.
A General Fund – to be used for projects requiring funding including the purchase of equipment, recruitment of specialist staff, and enhancement to the academic and teaching programs not covered by tuition fees. This fund will gratefully accept bequests and is therefore not tax deductible.
