This edition of Artist Spotlight features pianist Molly Lilley (Year 11). Molly started playing piano when she was 4 years old. She started her private tuition at Aranda Primary and joined the Radford Community in Year 3. Molly’s current teacher is Kerry Watson, and the linked recording is of Molly playing her Grade 8 piece Deux Arabesque No 1 for piano by Debussy.
Molly’s future plans include practising for her AMUS, and studying medicine at ANU. She finds performing music to be relaxing and rewarding.
