The College was a sea of colour as students and staff came together in cultural dress and splashes of orange to celebrate Harmony Day on Friday 22 March.

Harmony day is a chance to highlight Australia's cultural diversity, learn from each other and to make a statement about racism. It’s about inclusiveness, respect, and a sense of belonging for everyone.

As a Primary Years Programme (PYP) school, our Junior School students exemplified international mindedness by recognizing the importance of harmonious relationships within our community and celebrating diversity.

Our Junior School students participated in various Harmony Day activities. Many students proudly wore ceremonial attire and traditional costumes, while others incorporated a splash of orange into their usual uniforms. Year level groups engaged in cultural songs, music, and interactive activities, collectively embracing the spirit of harmony and diversity.

In the Secondary School, enticing aromas filled the air as students and staff gathered on the Morison lawn to enjoy a picnic with a huge variety of sweet and savoury food items prepared by Radford Awareness and Service students. The language captains arranged craft activities and games from around the world.
