NAPLAN 2022

AS ADVISED THROUGH NEXUS

All students in Years 3, 5, 7 & 9 will participate in the National Assessment Program for Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) between 10 and 20 May 2022. Federal Government regulations require that all students in these year levels participate. The tests provide the College with valuable diagnostic data that assists us to develop our academic programs.

All students will participate in a coordinated practice test on 24 March. Further details will be provided to families shortly regarding the timing of this test.

Students who are in Years 3, 5, 7 & 9 are expected to participate in the testing. A decision to withdraw a student from the NAPLAN tests is the responsibility of the student’s parent/carer, and not the school.

Reminders:

• Please ensure that your child arrives at school on time each test day.
• It is the responsibility of families to rearrange any Instrumental Music lessons that occur during test periods.
• Please do not schedule any outside appointments until after lunch on test days.
