Next stage of Nexus launch

The new College intranet/portal, Nexus, will be released to Years 7–11 students within the next week.

The Implementation Team is seeking students' insights on how the platform can be refined before it is fully launched to the community.

What Nexus is
For the Stage One release to the community, Nexus replaces Radford Online and will be the College's main platform for Radford information – news, studies and wellbeing information, co-curricular information, events, College and individual calendar and timetable information.

A lot of pages are still a work in progress, and Secondary School students' patience is requested, ahead of the full launch to parents and the Junior School later in the year.

The Implementation Team is seeking a review and feedback from students.

Nexus will be launched to the whole community later in the year.

What Nexus will be
From 2022, Nexus will replace SEQTA – it will hold all information needed for students' classes, assessment and reporting. Microsoft 365 online access will be integrated in the same way as it has been within Radford Online. A mobile app will be launched in the coming weeks and students are asked to stay tuned and download this when the Implementation Team shares availability.

What Nexus is not
For now, until the formal community launch, Nexus may not include the most up-to-date information and not everything is complete.

Please refer to current platforms until the official launch. Nexus does not replace tools such as Microsoft 365.

Although students should receive fewer emails, they will still use Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote, Teams (but not for year-level information from 2022).

What the Implementation Team wants Year 7–11 students to do
Students will be able to login with their Radford account and review the platform. When the mobile app becomes available they will be encouraged to download and review it. Details will be communicated directly to students later this week.
