Maddy Dyne, ECS Administrator

What does your role involve?

I’m filling in as the Education Care Services (ECS) Administrator in the Early Learning Centre (ELC) for the duration of Term 4. This means I’m in charge of maintaining the Pre-Kindergarten attendance and ensuring our compliance is up to date.

What are the highlights of your role?

I get to help with lunch covers every day in the ELC, which means I spend time with the Pre-K children on the playground and in the classroom. This is a highlight as the children always make me laugh and it’s been great getting to know them!

Can you tell us a little more about your background and the path that led you to your current role?

I’ve been working in the OSHC program at Radford since 2020, which means I’m very familiar with the staff and children. This has made the transition into the ECS Administrator role a bit easier. I’ve had many part-time jobs, ranging from cashier at IGA to a community support worker and front of house at a café.

I attended Radford from 2010 to 2019, when I graduated. Both my brother and sister attended here, and my parents actually met here when they went to school!

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I love getting outside and going for hikes. I’m booked to complete the Overland Track in Tasmania in January, which I’m looking forward to. I enjoy camping in the swag and spending time at the beach. I’m an avid trivia night attendee and enjoy catching up with friends over dinner and a drink.
