Basketball ACT Representative Trials

Flyers
U12 and U14 Boys and Girls Trials

U16 and U18 Boys and Girls Trials
U20 Men and Gunners Academy Trials.

Basketball ACT will be conducting trials for the 2022 ACT U20 Women’s Team and Nationals Academy Program on Tuesday 18 January and Thursday 20 January from 6:00-8:00pm at the Tuggeranong Stadium.

A third trial will be participating in the 2022 Canberra Classic Tournament being held over the weekend of 22 and 23 January at the Belconnen Stadium.

A non-refundable trials registration fee of $25 covers court hire costs and the Basketball ACT administration fee. An additional fee will apply in January for the Canberra Classic nomination where Basketball ACT will consider nominating three Nationals Academy / U20 Women’s teams. Players born in 2003 and 2004 are eligible for selection into the 2022 ACT U20 Women’s Representative Team.

Team preparation and selection for the U20 Australian Junior Championships, scheduled for 18-24 April in Mackay, Qld, will be conducted within and concurrently with the Canberra Nationals Academy Team. Leading into the U20 Australian Junior Championships there will be some “stand-alone” trainings and practice games.

The Canberra Nationals Academy Team largely targets players who are under 23 years of age. The Academy will compete in the NSW Waratah-1 League from 2022. This competition will meet Basketball ACT requirements for a stronger competition for our most talented young women whilst also effectively underpinning the senior Canberra Nationals Team that will compete in the NBL-1 East from 2022.

Players must register for the trials at the following link: https://www.playhq.com/basketball-act/register/1c945f.
