Re Andrew Fuller Ten Resilience Hints

Our young people continue to need our support, encouragement and understanding as they navigate through the adolescent phase. Working with young people to build resilience as a family will enable them to thrive and take on the challenges that they face.

Andrew Fuller, a clinical psychologist who has worked with over 3500 schools and with more than 500,000 young people, has identified the three main components of resilience: connect, protect, and respect. Andrew describes resilience as “the happy knack of being able to bungy jump through the pitfalls of life – to rise above adversities and obstacles”.

In one of the many free resources available on Andrew’s website, Andrew shares his 10 hints with the community on how to build resilient families. If you would like to learn more about building resilience in young people and within your own family you can find his 10 hints here: Ten Resilience Hints (andrewfuller.com.au)
