Year 12 Revue

By Mr Nick Akhurst, Head of Co-curricular Drama, Dance and Technical Theatre

The annual Year 12 Revue The road to Radford has been put to bed. This production is Radford’s longest running interdisciplinary activity and is nearly a 12 month process as student create the script and put all the acting, dancing and technical element together for 3 shows.

This years Revue was set in a dystopian future where only Radford City remains, Road to Radford was a hilariously dramatic journey through truth, chaos and questionable dance moves. The Revue was packed with music, theatre, satire and just the right amount of absurdity. With a few guest appearances from staff and a mysterious incident involving Mr Akhurst and the Hall.

A huge congratulation goes out to all the students involved who took on new and challenging roles on the stage, in the technical area or in management. They have new skills that will serve them well in any future endeavours. Thank you to all the staff who help support making sure this production got to stage they could not do it without your belief and support.

Thank you to all the staff and audience member who came to support The Year 12’s in their performance and wish luck to Year 11 as they embark on their adventure to create their own memorable revue.
