Parking
Radford College offers more than 300 parking spaces across the campus, including 12 accessible bays for visitors with limited mobility. For exact locations, please refer to the College map.

Facilities and event hire
Radford College’s facilities are available for hire, providing spaces for community and professional events. From chapel services to theatre performances and sporting tournaments, our halls, courts and meeting spaces are adaptable and well equipped.

G. Wigg Sports Centre
The G. Wigg Sports Centre features 2 multipurpose courts suitable for basketball, netball, volleyball and futsal. A strength and conditioning gymnasium and 2 classrooms are located on the first floor, with 4 additional multipurpose classrooms on the second floor.
These rooms include concertina internal walls that allow the space to expand up to 302 m². Each room is equipped with a 75-inch smart TV with Wi-Fi, as well as handheld or lapel microphone capability.
The second floor also features a balcony overlooking the P&F Oval and a fully furnished kitchen. Stairlift access is available.

Baker Family Sports Precinct
The Baker Family Sports Precinct includes:
- 3 outdoor multisport courts (463 m²) for basketball, netball and futsal
- 5 outdoor tennis courts (257 m²).

Boorer Family Cricket Centre (BFCC)
Boorer Family Cricket Centre (BFCC)
Opened in 2024, the BFCC is a state-of-the-art, 1,593 m² indoor cricket facility. It includes 8 standard-size synthetic cricket pitches with 4 bowling and 8 Spin-fire machines. Dividing nets can be raised to open the space for larger multi-sport use, subject to availability.
A 47 m² meeting room with a kitchenette and 75-inch smart TV (with handheld microphone and Wi-Fi) is also available. The first-aid station includes an ice machine, defibrillator, first aid kit and there is Caretaker support.
Booking
Clients must register (free) as a club/group or individual on the BFCC booking system. Hire agreements are provided for approved bookings.
Hire Charges (excluding GST)
Standard Hire: $50 per hour (weekdays), $55 per hour (weekends)
Discounts apply for Radford students, collegians, coaches, and Cricket ACT–affiliated teams.

Morison Centre
Constructed in 2019 and winner of the 2022 Australian Institute of Architects ACT Award for Educational Architecture, the Morison Centre offers 2 245 m² open spaces ideal for large events. Adjoining classrooms can be opened to extend each area by 214 m². Both spaces are served by a fully equipped kitchen.
Level 1 includes an 80-inch screen with microphone connectivity, while Level 2 offers a 300-inch screen, handheld and lapel microphones, and Wi-Fi.
Lift access connects both levels, with ample parking nearby. Level 1 opens to a landscaped lawn suitable for outdoor events; Level 2 connects to a 103 m² covered balcony with views of the surrounding area.

Heath Lecture Theatre
This 184 m² theatre accommodates 230 attendees and includes a heating and cooling system, 75-inch smart TV, 165-inch wall screen with HDMI connectivity and both handheld and lapel microphones.

Leyshon Lecture Theatre
This 153 m² theatre seats 210 people and includes a 147-inch wall screen, a heating and cooling system, integrated HDMI and handheld and lapel microphone capability via an operations desk.

Collegians Centre
Opened in 2024, the Collegians Centre won the 2024 Australian Institute of Architects ACT Award for Educational Architecture. Centrally located between the P&F and J.A. Mackinnon Ovals, it offers seamless indoor–outdoor flow through glazed sliding doors.
With an internal area of approximately 1,800 m², the venue includes:
- 2 basketball courts, convertible to an international-standard show court
- Seating for up to 1,500 (500 fixed bleachers + 1,000 retractable)
- An 88 m² elevated meeting and function room overlooking the courts
- State-of-the-art audiovisual room servicing 2 270-inch screens, two handheld and 2 lapel microphones.

T.B. Millar Hall
Recently renovated, this 550 m² purpose-built theatre and performance hall seats up to 410 attendees (210 retractable theatre seats plus 200 single seats). The space features an elevated or modular stage, professional audiovisual and lighting systems, kitchen facilities and wheelchair access.

L.J. Willet Performing Arts Centre
The L.J. Willet Performing Arts Centre includes 2 adjoining rooms that can open into a 230 m² space for recitals, concerts and music events. Rehearsal rooms are located on the second floor (lift accessible). The Centre connects directly to the T.B. Millar Hall for ease of performance flow.

Gibbons Pavilion
The 170 m² Gibbons Pavilion opens onto the J.A. Mackinnon Oval and includes a raised platform, kitchen, kitchenette and 75-inch smart TV with Wi-Fi connectivity. The Pavilion is ideal for outdoor events or sports functions and opens onto the J.A. Mackinnon Oval.

R.A. Young Hall
This 290 m² multi-use hall includes retractable seating for 196 guests, polished wooden floors and floor-to-ceiling drapes for an intimate atmosphere. The hall features a piano, 144-inch screen, 2 handheld microphones and Wi-Fi connectivity.

- The College operates a dedicated bus service across Canberra, providing a safe and reliable way for students to travel.
- Services run before and after school, with multiple route options covering north and south Canberra suburbs.
