Mulford Junior School
The Junior School is a vibrant learning community where every student is known, supported and encouraged to flourish. With small class sizes, exceptional teaching and a focus on wellbeing, students build the confidence to explore, question and grow.

Entry years are Pre-Kindergarten and Year 3 and are subject to availability.

Learning Areas
The PYP framework provides a transdisciplinary approach that encourages students to make meaningful connections across subject areas and the wider world. Students engage with 6 core learning areas:
- Language – developing literacy and communication skills to express ideas with clarity and confidence.
- Mathematics – building logical thinking, problem-solving abilities and numerical fluency.
- Science – fostering curiosity and an understanding of how the natural and physical world works.
- Social studies – exploring history, geography, cultures and societies to develop global awareness.
- The arts – encouraging creativity and expression through visual art, music, drama and performance.

Out of School Hours Care
We recognise that many families need flexible care outside standard school hours. Radford’s Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program provides a safe, supportive and enriching environment before and after the school day.
Students enjoy structured and unstructured play, creative activities, quiet time for homework, and opportunities to socialise with peers under the supervision of caring staff. The program is designed to complement the values of the Junior School, ensuring continuity of care and connection for every student.

What are the operating hours of the OSHC program?
We offer before school care for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 from 7:30 am to 8:50 am and after school care until 6:00 pm.
Is holiday care offered during school holidays?
Radford College offers a holiday program during every term break 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The program includes a diverse range of activities, including excursions, for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.
Who operates the service (College staff or external provider)?
The OSHC program is operated by qualified Radford College Staff members under the leadership of Radford’s Director of OSHC, Mrs Nang Aung.
How do families enrol or book?
Radford uses Xplor Home for all bookings for our childcare services including the holiday programs. To enrol your child, please submit this form.

Do I need to pack food for after school care and on days I send my child to the holiday program?
Afternoon tea will be provided for children attending the after school care. We ask families to pack morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for children who attend the holiday program, as no food will be provided on these days.
